LYRICS: Do you have the bite to match the bark? The last I checked, your work wasn't quite remarkable, and I haven't seen your name in lights, but somehow you think that you know just how to hit the bullseye. You know I'll grin and try to act polite, but you can see the fire roaring in my eyes. It's burning bright. Congratulations! I owe it all to you. I hope you think the likes were worth it when the truth shines through. (chorus) I hope you're happy, but I also hope you die soon. Oh, I'd sing a little tune. I hope there's room to throw a pretty rose upon your tomb. Oh, sorry, is this rude? You kinda put me in the mood to see you get screwed. Are you happy, baby boy? You acted out of spite. It left a mark. Tried to push me in the dirt, but here I am with a clean, fresh start. No longer weighted - my story feels brand new. I hope you think the fights were worth it when the truth shines through. (chorus) Maybe you might trip and fall. I'd visit at the hospital, ukulele and all. I'd sing a cutesy little song about how I hope you're happy after all, and as they kick me out, I'll still be singing... (chorus)

Wax 03:03
LYRICS: I bet you learned pretty young to fake a smile. Baby that must be your style, mmm, while your clothes catch fire. You know I won't lie, lie, lie. I'm not gonna ask you to pick sides, but I told you how he tried, tried, tired to flip the script... so I'm putting an end to this. (chorus) What's it like to look through glass eyes? What's it like to rest your hands on plastic thighs? Oh, there's no sense extending an olive branch to a hand that's made of wax. It became clear when you whispered you were here, but your breath smelled like stale beer. Mmm, not gonna take that deal. You all talk, talk, talk. Watch closely as I walk that walk, fighting harder than I ever fought. I'll blow you a kiss... while I put an end to this. (chorus) You're all wax and plastic. Shake your hand and you'll talk back. It's a pre-recorded message. You've got batteries in your back. Don't wanna go there, sit in your chair, and end up tangled in your nylon hair. You incriminate, but you don't have the story straight. You don't have a place to debate the story's twist... so I'm putting an end to this.
3.
Receipts 04:35
LYRICS: Well I had every reason to slam the door. This was not the bargain I signed on for. You had a hat to wear, but you wanted more. Tried to tell me what to do - that's what fathers are for. You couldn't do the job you claimed was yours, and then I couldn't take it anymore. (refrain) I didn't wanna cut corners or cheat, but procrastination ruined my biggest feat. Was it misplaced caring or deceit? Well I came to return what you sold me... and I've got receipts. Oh aren't you powerful? Oh aren't you smart? I hope you're proud of making a girl starve. You have your little group, but it's a farce. All your attention was on me, and, frankly, that's bizarre. If you have all the wisdom to touch the stars, then why haven't you made it very far? (refrain) I didn't want the cycle to repeat. Don't think that you can order me around 'cause I'm petite. When I make a promise it's concrete. Oh I came to return what you sold me... and I've got receipts. Oh I don't owe you anything. (2x) I just want to write songs and sing. I hope my absence starts to sting. Oh I don't owe you anything. I've cut off all your puppet strings. I'm in control of everything. Oh I don't owe you anything. (refrain) I didn't want the cycle to repeat. Don't think that you can order me around 'cause I'm petite. Was it misplaced caring or deceit? Oh I came to return what you sold me... and I've got receipts.

Ghost Town 03:11
LYRICS: Here we go - out the door again! My lipstick's on, and I'm ready to play, just say when. We - oh, we're lining up. You can't put a price on doing what you love. (chorus) There was no night like Saturday night, but the lights have long flickered out. You've crowned your king. I don't wanna sing and shout in this ghost town. You built us up to let us down. Why expect us to stick around? Let the dust collect. No, we're not perfect, but at least we stand our ground. Uh-oh. Oh, what have you done? The door's boarded up, but it felt like we just begun. The charm's gone. Oh, it's a shame, and we have his damn spiteful hand to blame. (chorus) We've got music to play. We need ears that'll listen. We've got bills to pay. We want a cozy tradition. We've got words to say. We don't need any permission. Sorry it's gotta be this way, but he stole her position. We're still on a mission. (chorus 2x)

Farewell 05:22
LYRICS: In my darkest time, you took me in right when I needed it, but I regret all of my weaknesses. Because all that kept me alive was overturned into your palm. It was under the guise you'd steer me to a life of song... (chorus) I've got a carpet to stitch because your bitterness tore it out from under my feet. I've got a needle and thread. I won't stop 'til I'm dead. I'll sew it back, nice and neat. I could scream, I could yell, but there's nothing left to say but farewell. It must be simpler to scorn a woman for seeking success on her own than give her praise for being brave enough. Oh, every single breath of every day's become a battle - a never ending quest for finding worth in anything at all... (chorus) The room we once laughed in is littered with rage and sin. And after you broke my trust, I decided to let those old scraps rust. And now it's my things too. I hope I never have to look into your stubborn eyes and pretend to smile, it'd be all lies. (chorus)
